God Is Never Too Far Off
There are times we feel so low and overwhelmed with all our worries. I am feeling that way now. When you think so much of your problems and worries, you feel as if you’re all alone. I just came from the church this morning, and as always, after I poured into Him all my worries and dilemmas, I feel that God is always in control and He is just strengthening me once again. Most importantly, I am reminded that all my problems are merely challenges I can overcome and solve. There will always be a solution.
While looking for some old papers, I found my old booklet titled, The Road of Life. It is a compilation of various inspirational poems published by the Salesian Missions. Again, I don’t know where I got it, but I have it way way back. Anyways, I just left it beside my laptop before I went to church. As i sit here thinking of what to write, i just flipped its pages and found this beautiful poem, as if answering my woes. God will always be here with us. I wish to share this poem to everyone, and hope somehow it will touch you and enlighten you like me. GOD BLESS!!!
GOD IS NEVER “TOO FAR OFF”
Some people say God’s “too far off
To put bread on our table,
That this remains for us to do,
As long as we are able.
But where they got this notion,
Remains a mystery,
For I am certain God is but
A breath away from me.
He is a part of daily life,
And everything I do,
He’s always taken care of me,
And will continue to.
He didn’t put me in this world.
To leave me all alone,
My deepest needs are His concern,
Because I am his own.
God is never “too far off”
His love is everywhere,
And in believing this, each cross,
Is easier to bear.
Within my life He always plays
The most important part,
For God is never “too far off”…
Who lives within my heart!
