The Unborn Child’s Letter from Heaven

I originally included this letter in my previous post about the diary of an unborn child, but noticed that the blog is so long so I decided to split them. Anyways, after some google search, I found this interesting letter as a continuation of the Diary. In the letter, the unborn child is writing her mom and telling her that she’s already in heaven and how Jesus loves her that she’s now sitting in His lap. This letter tells what the child has been through while she was being aborted - the pain, terror, death, and her strong will not to die. Though she is heartbroken, she still managed to get worried for her mother and tells how much she loves her, further wishing that her mother won’t experience the pain she’d gone through.

Just like what the late Pres. Ronald Reagan once said, We have the duty to protect the life of an unborn child. (more…)

Diary of an Unborn Child

I can’t get over that scene from House,MD where Dr. Greg House’s finger was touched by an unborn baby boy. It’s so touching, and it reminds us that even a tiny baby, fetus, or blood - whatever you want to call that miracle inside a womb - is still a person, and has life!

I hope you liked my previous blog on the House episode, but I hope you will also like this diary of an unborn child, which I found while looking for the famous picture of Samuel Armas. This pieces was written anonymously and was first published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society in the May 22, 1980 issue of its Awake! magazine. This diary was intended to make readers reconsider their position on the morality of abortion. There were other variations/adapations to the diary after it was published, but I chose to just post the original one. It chronicles the development of a fetus but ended to an abortion.

For me, life is so sacred. Although abortion is a debatable issue, I still believe that a life begins during conception, and from then on, we should care for that wonderful miracle in our womb, for it is not just a thing, it is a person! (more…)

The power of an unborn child

My youngest son carl is a little feverish so I woke him up and gave him some meds. I can’t sleep again after that, so I finished the dishes and started the laundry. I don’t have problem with water now because the pressure is very strong (hey, for sure I am the only one up at 2 am and doing these household chores and using water!), unlike during the day when the water only comes out from the shower faucet (well, at least we can still have a shower during the day).

While the washing machine is doing its work (I am so thankful I already got an automatic washer, saves me a lot of stress!), I watched the 17th episode of House, MD’s Season 3 titled Fetal Position. The plot is about a 42 year old pregnant photographer, Emma Sloan, who suffered a stroke while doing shoots for a rock star (whom I thought was the one who’ll be sick because of his looks). House concluded that she has a mirror syndrome, or a condition that the symptoms in the mother reflect symptoms in the fetus, but in this case, its the fetus who’s dying and could take the mother with it. House said to Emma that she needs to abort the 21-week old boy fetus, otherwise she’s dead in two days. Emma declined to have an abortion, but gave House two days more to find what they could do to save them both. (more…)
