Alam mo naman dito sa Pinas, most of the students usually take up courses not because they are interested, but because the course is in demand abroad (or their parents told them to). I don’t know if you ever saw the TV series McGyver back in the 80’s. I remember, the character said one time, “I took up Physics because I’m interested in it, not because I wanted to get a job after.” That stayed with me.
