dNEERO Survey

Hey, guys! Just found this dNEERO, which really pays. If you’re into blogging like me, you may want to sign up to dNEERO, each survey pays about $1.90 and paid to your paypal account. The surveys are just short, and won’t take a minute to answer them, only about 5 questions. After answering, you just post to your blogsite the link to your answers. This is a social survey that you share your own answers with your friends! You can also earn more doing referrals and get percentage of what your referrals earned.

Payments are through PayPal when your account balance is greater than $25.To get paid for each survey you have to have somebody click from your profile and view your answers on 5 of the 10 days following when you took the survey. Advertisers are paying for your opinion and for exposure of their concept. It’s a catch, but it requires no effort on your part and most profiles get visited many times each day by friends. You’ve got 10 days to generate just 5 days with clicks. (more…)

Britain’s most stupid laws

gavelThis piece of news is pretty amusing. A survey conducted by UKTV Gold television in London has revealed what is considered as UK’s creasiest laws. Out of the 3,931 surveyed, the top vote went to: it is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament. So when you died there, the police were going to arrest you? Most of the laws may be absurd to the highest level, but they still exist and have never been repealed although subsequent statutes have rendered them obsolete.

Respondents were given a shortlist of nominated crazy laws and asked to vote. The result of the survey is as follows:

Most ridiculous British laws:

1. It is illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament (27 percent) - is it legal to charge a corpse?

2. It is an act of treason to place a postage stamp bearing the British monarch upside-down (seven percent) - it will get dizzy

The Pill linked to higher risk heart attack or stroke: study

The Pill (Source:http://www.ingenious.org.uk/media/4.0_SAC/webimages/1032/3/10323430_3.jpg) Just found this very important article from Yahoo and AFP, and I know this would be of interest to many women out there who are on pill, or anyone who knows someone taking pill. I’ve never taken any contraceptive pill ever, because I was afraid of all the side-effects (hehe, that’s why I got 3 kids now, side-effect, too!). When I was treated for hormonal imbalance this summer, the OB-GYN told me to take estrogen caps for a month, then afterwards be on pill for life. So I was on estrogen therapy for almost a month, but I was adamant about the pills.

Anyways, I think I don’t need them coz I am already ligated and as I have said, I have read lots of negative side-effects from the web and heard from other friends - in short, I didn’t follow the OB. I stopped the estrogen, too, I think I still have some caps here ‘coz I read from the web that long-term estrogen therapy is related to higher breast cancer risks, plus, of course contraceptive pill has also estrogen, right? Gives me some headache, too.

BEGIN AGAIN

Failure is an event (Source:Allposters.com)Me and the kids just got back from a kiddie birthday party. They are still playing with all the giveaways while I write here. I am a bit not feeling well, my throat is itchy and I got a little colds. I was thinking of what to write here, and I thought I would recycle my previous blog article in Friendster.

When I wrote that post in December last year, I was also having some flu bug. Now, I think I’ll gonna have some flu or something, too. I hope not, still lots of things to do here at the house. 2 baskets full of laundry, a house to clean up (hopefully, hehe, how a wish there’s a house that would clean itself, hehe, like an automatic washing machine)! not to mention 3 beautiful kids to take care of — my fulltime jobs! And, oh, I forgot I need to tutor them for the day’s lesson!

Anyways, we all get a little sick once in a while. For now, I’ll just make a short blog and wish to share with you this poem I got from beliefnet.com. It’s a very good site if you want some soul searching or just some life inspirations. (more…)

How BILL GATES recruit new CEO

Bill Gates ready to twist ur neck This one’s funny!hehe. I got this from one of my egroups. Just don’t know if this is true, but the moral of the story, like what American football coach Bob Zuppke said, “Guts win more games than ability.”

Bill Gates organized an enormous session to recruit a new CEO for Microsoft Europe.

Exactly 5,000 candidates assembled in a large room. One candidate is MARIO DIMACULANGAN.

Bill Gates: Thank you for coming. Those who do not know JAVA may leave.

2,000 people leave the room.

MARIO says to himself, ‘I do not know JAVA but I have nothing to lose if I stay. I’ll give it a try’

Bill Gates: Candidates who never had experience in managing more than 500 people may leave.

2,000 people leave the room.

Mario says to himself ‘ I never managed anybody but myself, but I have nothing to lose if I stay. What can happen to me?’ So he stays.
