This post is dedicated to the memory of Benazir Bhutto, iconic figure in Pakistan’s politics for decades and the first and only woman Prime Minister of any Muslim country. Her life was a modern day epic and was a survivor. Thirteen years before in an interview, a reporter from Times magazine compared her life to a Greek tragedy. She laughed it off and said, “Well, I hope not so tragic. Don’t all Greek dramas end in tragedy?”
