My Grown-up Christmas List

I was supposed to make my own christmas list for this post, and most of the things that came first to my mind is of course some personal wishes - good health for my whole family, some material things, more clicks on adsense (LOLS), etc. On top of my list is of course, to be rich! Who doesn’t want to, right? Everyone dreams of a better life.

However, I felt selfishness upon seeing this video of Kelly Clarkson’s My Grown Up Christmas List uploaded in youtube by another pinoy under the name hardingrosas. I already saw this video about 2 weeks ago, but i watched it in full only now. There are other other versions, but for me this is the best one because it’s more Pinoy compared to the other videos. I cried while watching this presentation, and at the same time I felt ashamed of myself. (more…)

Pasko na Sinta ko

Nostalgic this christmas? I am! I think christmas season here in the Philippines won’t be complete without hearing Gary Valenciano’s Pasko na Sinta ko in the airwaves, right? I remember before, starting September 1, most radio stations start playing some christmas songs and this Gary V. hit is always in the top list!

Wanna hear this song again? Just turn the player on and surely you’ll feel the nostalgia of Pinoy christmas and of course, missing your loved one this holiday season! You can even sing with it coz I’ve written down the lyrics below. For sure it will give you goose bumps and make you sentimental, LOLS.(ooops, please pause first the christmas carols playing on the sidebar, thanks!) (more…)

Looking for a shopping cart? I found Ashop Commerce

I am thinking of creating a website solely dedicated to my handmade swarovski pieces. As you can see, I only made a page for that, Swarovski Galore. No orders yet coming online and from my dear blogfriends (LOLS!) but I am already keen on the idea of creating a separate site for it. I also searched for what type of shopping cart to use, you know, the pushcart sign in an online store? That’s what i want. Then I found this Ashop Commerce, the leading web base shopping cart software.

ashoppic Ashop is considered as the most intuitive shopping cart, and is integrated with all major banks, including major credit cards! But worry not, for those skeptics in using credit cards online, the Ashop Commerce shopping cart software has a built checkout security protection so customers can pay with confidence. What’s more great to this merchant must-have is that the software is also tied-up with third party processors like PayPal! (more…)

BANDWIDTH LIMIT EXCEEDED

Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

Last night, as I was about to check on my website, that message flashed on my computer screen. Huh? What da - I can’t open my site!!!!I don’t know what bandwidth is. Yes, I am IT illiterate, as I have mentioned in previous blogs.

So I consulted my BFF (bestfriend forever) Google, and one site said that bandwidth is the size of your web content X number of visitors that accessed that web page = your consumed bandwidth. What does this mean? Ok, in my own terms - Bad news: I shouldn’t have used lots of graphics coz they make my web content size bigger. Uh-uh, i think i need to take out some of the christmas pic. Good news: I am increasing traffic – equals more people visiting my site! Yehey!!! This of course is to acknowledge my growing friends in the wide wide world of blogosphere. I am thankful, of course, gratified is the better word, I think.

Got a Problem? No Problem - Read the Bible

Whenever I have problems, something is bothering me, or I am into some sort of sticky situations, my immediate refuge is by reading the Bible. I don’t know - maybe intuition or what - but whenever a problem is coming up, I have this feeling of uneasiness, my heart palpitates a little. So whenever I have this jittery feeling, and knowing that this is a sign of a coming blessing in disguise, I read my Bible ASAP. It gives me feeling of comfort, so by the time that the problem surfaces, I don’t feel panicky anymore.

Of course, just merely reading won’t solve any problem, but it gives this assurance that everything will be alright, and will be solved no matter what. Reading uplifting Bible verses gives me wider perspective on how to deal with any life challenges. So I wish to share with you some of my favorites verses, I hope you get comfort after reading them: (more…)
