Missing Slumbook, Diaries and Journals
Blogging today is the ‘in’ thing. Almost everyone I know has his/her own blog thingie. Move over diaries, journals and slumbooks - we now have blogs, facebook, myspace, multiply, friendster - hundreds more! Not to mention mobile phones and PDAs. Yes, technology brings us more convenience, but don’t you miss writing on paper all your thoughts and reading “real” writings? Pass the papers pls:
Slumbook: My gosh, so grade school! For every girl, grade school won’t be complete without having your own slumbook. Pamatay na tanong? What is Love? Pamatay na sagot? Love is like a rosary that is full mystery. Hay, jus ko. Don’t you remember those days of slumbooks, when as a shy little girl, you silently hoped your crush would notice the hints in your answers (or be impressed). Then wished, too,
hethat he’d put your name at the most intriguing question: Who is Your Crush? Answer: SECRET (or used a codename). Hahaha! Disappointing of course, if he wrote a different name. Sad.
