Whenever I have some ideas or nice thoughts worthy to blog about but don’t have time to write, I just write a working title and save the draft so I could go back to it later (now I have more than a dozen drafts! ). More than 2 months (yes - that long!) after I drafted this post, I finally decided to finish it.

I chose this working title because I have always believed to this adage, “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” and I surely have affirmed this quote to myself and to lots of friends in numerous occasions. More so, I think I already have written it here many times. Like what I always say over and over since the start of this blog, life is BEAUTIFUL despite all the troubles and challenges so we should always be HAPPY! God is in control, right?

I am now also hooked aside from looking for nice videos to share from Youtube, but also finding nice songs to upload from IMEEM, so I keep the Bossa Nova music to entertain you all while reading. The best gift we could ever give to our parents and loved ones when they reach the old age is Tender Love and Care.  More than ever, they need our TLC when they reach the glorious sunset of life.  That’s the proper payback we should give them, shouldn’t we all?  (more…)

I was thinking of my blog this morning and amazing grace just flashed on my head. Immediately, I searched for it on Google and found this video of Leeann Rimes’ version of the Amazing Grace. I first thought that it was not Leeann on the video because I remembered her to be not that beautiful (and sexy) when her other song, “How Do I Live” became a hit in 1997! After that, I never knew any songs by her. So I searched again, and yes, not just she sang Amazing Grace soulfully, she also aged gracefully (she ironically looked younger compared to her photos in ‘97 - how I wish I’d be like her in ten years time!).

Anyways, I enjoyed her acapella version of Amazing Grace so much, and it truly touched me. So I am sharing the video and the lyrics with you of this truly magnificent song, just please pause the Bossa Nova music first at the bottom of the sidebar. Here it is: (more…)

I am currently using a free hit counter located at the bottom of my sidebar under Footprints to log all the hits of all those visiting Beautifulandhappy. It’s a free hit counter but that’s what it only offers - counting. It works fine at the beginning, but then I realize that I can gain some more from my blog statistics!
