Stop Complaining

Most of us are cynical and see a glass half empty. It’s easier for us to have a negative attitude than a positive one, right? However, wouldn’t it be nicer to see a glass half full and be thankful of the content? Yet, even if we try hard to be positive at all times, often the simplest incidents give us a gloomy outlook again. Like when we’re already running late for work and there’s this horrendous traffic coming our way. Or when a bill is due today and yet we still don’t have the money to pay for it. It’s hard to smile during this times, right?

It doesn’t need a catastrophe to bring us back to the world of negative thinking. Personally, I also had numerous battles and seemingly negative episodes that sometimes it’s hard for me to see the silver lining. Believe me, I had those times that I just simply want to give up! Nonetheless, whenever I start to whine I try to come back to my rational senses. I try to pause for a while and analyze everything that’s happening. As always, it’s not bad after all and I just need to see other side of the coin. I know it’s easier said than done coz the real world is full of complexities in itself, right? (more…)

Find Fun Online

Our old friend in Melbourne requested my hubby to have a look at his PC because it’s working sooo slowly. So he went there yesterday, and found out that the PC was installed with lots of anti-virus and anti-spywares. Knowing my limited knowledge of computer technicalities, hubby just explained the problem to me in the simplest way he could: the softwares are sort of “fighting” against each other because of incompatibility. Hmm, sounds easy. I never thought this compatibility issue would also be a problem to computers, like to any love affair. Hehe. (more…)
