Playing your risk well

For me, playing the casino is similar to investing your money on stocks, forex trading or any business - you gamble with your money despite the risks of losing. And if you play well, for sure you will reap the gains. I am not against playing the casino or any form of gambling, even I play the pokies, lottery and bingo sometimes.  As long you do it for pure entertainment, that’s fine.

In the first place, the Bible says, “Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things?…”(Matthew 20:15). From this verse, clearly we have all the control on how to spend our OWN money - on luxury, business, or entertainment - whatever and wherever we like. However, at the same time the Bible also says, “He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house…” (Prov 15:27). Money is the root of all evil, right? So as long as any person doesn’t succumb his/her life for the love of money - particularly easy money - and does not put into risk the family’s well-being and financial security, it’s fine to have fun on some sort of entertainment like online games and football betting .
