PAYPAL WITHDRAWAL UPDATE: PHILIPPINE BANK CODES

Ei, guys! Just an update to the previous list of bank codes. James of Pinoymoneytalk has told me that the list is now updated (thanks again, bro!). So here is the official list of bank codes here in the Philippines, as released by PAYPAL (you may also access the site here):

Philippine Bank Codes

PAYPAL WITHDRAWAL FROM ANY PHILIPPINE BANKS

This is good news to fellow Pinoy bloggers. You have read the title right, folks! We can now withdraw money from Paypal through any Philippine Banks! You can now link your paypal account to any local bank and the transaction would be cleared within 5-7 days. Yehey!!!

Opps, before you rush logging in to your paypal accounts, have the following info first: 9-digit bank codes and your bank account number. Plus you’ve got to make sure that your bank account name matches your paypal account (obviously!). Withdrawals of 7,000 pesos up are free, but you just have to pay 50pesos for withdrawals below that.

Wondering what’s your local bank code? Fellow blogger PINOYMONEYTALK is kind enough to list down the bank codes of Philippine banks available so far (Thanks, bro!). So here are the bank codes:

Sigh, I only have Banco De Oro account and they haven’t released a bank code yet! I tried using the swift code they provide, BNORPHMM, but paypal won’t accept this! Hopefully BDO will do something about this soon! But hey, at least this paypal development is great!!! For sure lots of Pinoy bloggers are happy!!!

MEME #3: FUN TAG

This is my third time to join a meme, and I thank the magnificent artist Wayfarerwings for tagging me. So this is how this meme goes:

Rule #1: Copy all the links below and replace a single link under the appropriate letter of the alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an “A,” you’d replace the link under that letter and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

Rule #2: You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate so that this thing spreads like a virus. Remember, though, that not everyone’s into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community. Anyway, I have tagged the next persons:

Rule #3: None.. Just have fun!
