The Lord is My Shepherd

The Psalm of David (Psalm 23) is one of my longtime favorite verses in the Bible. I know it by heart. Whenever I feel nervous, stressed out with problems or so anxious about something, I just quietly say, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…” and I would feel some sort of calmness pouring onto me. Those lines always remind me that Jesus will always guide me, and would give only the best for me. That despite all the troubles life brings, He will deliver me - ALWAYS.

Anyways, yesterday was the baccalaureate mass in the university where I am currently teaching, and the responsorial psalm used was the Psalm of David. The psalm was sang and it was really moving. How I wish I had my camera to video the beautiful responsorial song. Anyways, I found this very awesome video for Psalm 23, which I wish to share with everyone. It shows a different outlook for the Psalm of David. The video clearly shows why we should put our trust ONLY IN HIM - FOREVER. I also uploaded a beautiful video of Psalm 23 at the Prayer for Faith & Healing page a few months ago. It’s really an uplifting verse.

God Bless to ALL!!! The video says it all.

Relocating? No Problemo!

It’s hard to relocate specially if you are moving interstate or even moving abroad. I know the feeling, the pressure, and the stress. It’s exhausting to select what items to throw away and what items to keep, then pack them up neat. And it’s equally exhausting to unpack everything and arrange everything back when you reach your destination. Whew! Truly stressful, but the packing and unpacking of important belongings are just the beginning and end of your moving journey. What’s in between the two activities is, of course, transporting and moving.  You really need to hire reliable interstate moving companies or international movers (for those moving overseas) to ensure that all your properties are well handled.

So, if you are planning to move out, check out Internationalmovers.com and get free international moving quotes. Plus, you can choose from any international movers listed in their directory. You are guaranteed of reliable and quality service, and you also have a chance to win some nice deals. Moving? No problemo!

COURAGE

Courage

Courage is doing what is right
Without having to be told
Courage is manning up
When you know you’ve done something wrong
Courage is looking the enemy in the eye
And telling them to just bring it
Courage is having fear
But still staying strong
Courage is facing adversity
But being able to overcome it
Courage is leaving your family behind
To defend the country you love
Courage is being a soldier
In the greatest army in the world
Thank you for this courage
That lets us live free
May God bless you
And come home safely to your families

Spice up that window

I am thinking of doing some changes in our home decor, and the first thing I want to do is change our old set of curtains - you know, the usual lacy kind of curtain that we tie up on the middle? I think that style of curtain is already passe. I am keen on putting some window blinds in place of the old-fashioned curtains. Hmmm, so what window blinds to use? I reckon roman shades never fail to bring elegance to any room. What do you think?

Give Me Strength

I am looking for some inspirational materials for the Lenten and I found this lyrics from Eric Claption’s song, Give Me Strength.

Dear Lord, give me strength to carry on.
Dear Lord, give me strength to carry on.
My home may be out on the highway,
Lord, I’ve done so much wrong
But please, give me strength to carry on.

Dear Lord, give me strength to carry on.
Dear Lord, give me strength to carry on.
My home may be out on the highway,
Lord, I’ve done so much wrong
But please, give me strength to carry on.
