Relax!!!

Are you stressed out in work, everyday problems and other energy-consuming nonsense? There’s one thing to do - take it slow and RELAX!! Who doesn’t want a stress-free life anyway? But I think, no matter how heavy our problems are, we should still have some time for relaxing.

If we could afford it, of course, we can always have go to a getaway out of town, or even out of the country. But we shouldn’t look further. Even in the comforts of our homes, we can always relax and re-charge both our tired bodies, minds, and spirits. One of my therapies before when we were still in Australia is having a long hot bubble bath while reading a magazine or a book. It works wonders for me.

My hubby and me are planning some home renovations, and if our budget permits it, I would like to install new shower enclosures and a steam shower. I am looking over the net for designs and I am so impressed with all the innovative and hi-tech bathroom showers - I even found one with a foot massager and a mini tub! New designs are compact and leak proof so it can be installed wherever there is a water supply making them much more versatile. Wow!

Heat and steam soothe and relax tense muscles so when treat ourselves by having a steam shower, we give our body a chance to unwind. Relaxing is an antidote to stress, which numerous studies prove contribute to the development of many diseases. Do I have to add that relaxation gives us more energy and better problem solving abilities? And of course, relaxing will definitely sooth our emotions - so less anger, less stress, less anxieties and less headaches, if not migraine!

So try to relax and have a steam shower so you can experience its soothing comfort. It will definitely make you feel good.

No nonsense musings

I haven’t posted in the last 2 weeks. My last postings are fewer now unlike before. Writer’s block? Or am I simply lethargic? I dunno. Or maybe because I cut off my internet service in the house last week. Well, that’s more acceptable. I am transferring to a new ISP, which I thought will be installed very soon. I’m wrong. I thought after paid the fee, they will install the internet connections immediately. However, after 8 days they haven’t contacted me yet as to when the modem for the DSL will be installed. I follow them up but they always say my application is still in process. Fine, but one lesson I learned, I shouldn’t have believed when they said my phone line and DSL connection are installed within 7 days.

So the only internet connection I use is the wi-fi spot in our faculty office (I am obviously writing this post here now, hehe ). But even if I have some ideas to write last week, I just couldn’t find enough time coz I attended many seminars in preparation for the new school year. The classes start tomorrow (yes, a Thursday - why not move it to June 10 after the holiday?) Anyways, when all things are cleared up and I have settled on all my assigned classes ( chemistry again! :D), I will definitely write more blogs. So please bear with my no-nonsense post for now.

God bless everyone!
