Yes, the cPanel log in box still pops up.
I’ve had it happen when I’ve done a desk top search using Google Desktop.
Perhaps there’s something from your own folders that you’ve uploaded to the blog and that’s causing the log in to pop up.
Have a think about when it first happened and gradually eliminate items to test which one will stop the pop up.
Bit like an elimination diet when checking for allergies. lol
