Prayer for Faith & Healing

I am dedicating this web leaf to Kriztin who is now battling cancer with such faith and courage. I wish to commend, too, her husband Frederick, who’s been a great support and source of strength for her.

I also hope this page could touch many people, including myself, and constantly remind us to be steadfast with our faith to Him, despite all our problems, sickness and other afflictions. God has given us the beautiful gift of life. During our tribulations, we sometimes ask Him why these are happening. However, only Him has all the answers. As have said in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” So I am requesting you, as you scroll down this page, please say the following prayer for Kriztin for her to fully recover, and also for other people who really need strength and faith to face all their battles in life:

O God of heavenly powers,
by the might of your command you drive away from our bodies
all sickness and all infirmity:
Be present in your goodness with your servant,
that his/her weakness may be banished
and his/her strength restored;
and that, his/her health being renewed,
he/she may bless your holy Name;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Thanks so much for joining us with that prayer. I also chose Psalm 23 from the Bible, not just because this is one of my favorite verses, but because it affirms that God will always comfort and protect us and will always respond to all the difficulties and worries that come our way. This Psalm calls on us to trust Him for God is faithful and is a good Shepherd to all of his people.

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
